It has been a crazy week. Training, meetings, homeschooling, etc.
I wanted to share with you, this photo that I took the other day. Can you believe this is October? My friends back in NC have still been dealing with 80 degree temps.....and I get things like this.
Yesterday, we headed over to the river because Joshua needed some water from a natural source for some Biology labs. Thankfully, we were able to access the water without having to break through the ice....but that's won't last much longer!
When Autumn rolls around there are a few flavors that always seem to just fit right. But besides apple and pumpkin, what says Autumn better than Cranberry?
This Orange Cranberry bread is a perfect treat on a Fall day!
I don't post youtube videos on here often, but this one is very special to me. It is the 82d Airborne Chorus singing my favorite song, at Ground Zero.
The lead singer of this song, is Chris Stout. Husband, and father of three girls. He was killed in Aghanistan in 2010. I knew Chris and his family from my church there in NC. He was a gifted singer, and is no doubt, singing in the presence of our Lord today.
Here is a link to the video on youtube, in case the embedded version doesn't work. I wish this version of the video were complete, like another one I had seen.
All summer, we have been doing the study with the Fish & Game department, collecting data for them. Last week, Daddy got to go along and participate for the first time.
