Aurora and a little Announcement!

Last week, the Aurora gave another nice display, and since it was not negative 41 degrees, I decided to go out and take a few photos.





It was nice, because some "reds" made a showing as well!






I'm really going to miss this amazing sight when we eventually leave Alaska.


Oh, and the announcement?

Last week, not only did my husband finally come home from Iraq...for the 4th and final time....but we found out he made the promotion list!! So in the next few months my hubby will be promoted. That is always exciting news, but it also brings a little anticipation, because you don't know what is in store. We shall see!
