Add to that, 3/4 teaspoon Dry Mustard...
about 1/2 teaspoon Salt...
And some fresh-ground black pepper, around 1/2 teaspoon.
Stir to combine, then set aside.
In a large skillet, heat 1 Tablespoon olive or vegetable oil, and a tablespoon of butter.
Take your cubed steaks, and dredge them in the flour mixture.
And place them in the skillet. You will work in batches. Also, I usually cut the steaks in half as it seems to make them easier to work with.
You are going to brown these on each side, but don't worry about cooking them all the way through. Add more butter and oil as needed. When they are browned, place them in a baking dish, and repeat with the remaining steaks.
Heat your oven to 350 degrees.
In the same skillet, saute one chopped Onion, and two cloves of minced Garlic.
Cook them until they are just tender, and add 1 1/2 cup Sour Cream...
1/2 cup Water...
1/3 cup Soy Sauce...
and 1/4 cup Brown Sugar.
Whisk this all together, over medium heat, until it is smooth.
Pour the mixture over the top of the steaks.
Then cover it with foil and bake it for 1 1/2 hours.
