Pray for our Nation

Right now, anyone associated with the military is under a great deal of stress.

Right now, we need to be praying for our government leaders.

If they can't get something passed NOW in regards to the federal budget, the government WILL shut down, and military pay WILL be effected.

Now, if you are in the military, odds are you live paycheck to paycheck. Because quite frankly, unless you are some high-ranking officer that's been in for 30+ years, you don't make a lot of money.

Any sort of disruption in pay is going to leave soldiers in a serious hardship. Families without a way to buy groceries, pay rent, or make payments on bills.

When my husband is overseas, I keep stressful and negative things from him, because I want his safety to come first. He needs to be focused on what he is doing, and NOT worried about me and the kids.

Really Congress? Don't you think this is getting ridiculous? Don't you realize, that it isn't just our credit scores or the dinner table that are going to be effected by your incompetence to do your job?

The fact that soldiers at war are now going to have to worry about their children having food to eat, or a roof over their heads, is going to endanger their very lives. They will not be focused on what they are doing.

So please....pray for our leaders. God give them the wisdom to get their acts together and get the job done!

And please, pray for the military families across the country, and around the world. This is the last thing they need.
