About that Wildflower

Here's a couple tidbits about the wildflowers we see up on the hillside.

These flowers are low to the ground and thick-stemmed. When I found them, I thought they really looked like a variation of a crocus. Well, thanks to one of the wives in our unit, I discovered that I was quite right!

These are "Pasque Flowers" - also known as wind flower, prairie crocus, Easter Flower, and meadow anemone.
