The first was a phone call from the housing office asking us if we would like a brand-new 4 bedroom house on post.
Umm.....it's a little late since we already signed a lease.
The second was a phone call from the transportation office. Our Unaccompanied Baggage had been found and was here! They arrived this morning at 9am. I was SO happy to see those boxes!
I quickly unpacked the boxes so the movers could take the boxes and packing paper with them.
My counters now lined with all the things that make my kitchen complete. Now to find a home for everything!
We also had the rest of our clothes and linens. That's a good thing!
That closes out all but one chapter of the Military PCS process. The only thing left, is to get estimates, and file a claim with the moving company for the damages to certain pieces of our household goods. And that is that!
