First, mix 3 c all purpose flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
put them in a large bowl, mix and set aside.
Next, you need 3/4 c cold butter. Cut it into slices.

Drop the pieces of butter into the flour mixture...

Now with a pastry cutter, cut in the butter until it is crumbly.

Now pour in 3/4 c hot water.

Mix it with a spoon, and then turn it out onto a clean surface, and knead it until smooth.

Cover it with a towel, and let it rest about 30 minutes. Then cut it into 12 even pieces, and roll your first one out. You want it as thin as possible.

Heat up an iron skillet, medium heat. (Do not oil or grease it - this is a dry skillet.) Let it get good and hot. Then drop one tortilla onto the pan. Let it cook about 30-45 seconds, or until it begins to brown, turn it over and do the same with that side.

Repeat with all of the dough pieces, placing them in a towel as you go. A few minutes later, you have a stack of soft, warm, fresh tortillas!

Enjoy!

Did you grease your iron skillet with anything first to help in the browning process?
Looks easy enough!
