BLACKBERRY PICKING TIME!!!!
We headed out early this morning, and picked our first round of blackberries. First day's pickings netted 2 1/2 gallons.
Heading back out tomorrow too!
Then I took a look at the little garden....Oh boy, oh boy!
A baby pumpkin!
Oh, and look at the baby pickle...I mean cucumber!
Watermelon blossoms...
See what I mean about the poor, pitiful bean plants?
They were so neglected while we were moving...next season I will be sure to stay on top of them, so they aren't slaughtered by the bugs. But they sure are giving it their best shot aren't they?

And this is that crazy, 2-foot tall corn in the boxes. I highlighted the silks trying to grow. How funny!
I love this time of year.....and I can't wait for more blackberries!
