Last year, we actually ordered a package of praying mantis egg sacks, (Here) and had little babies running all around the flowerbeds. We loved watching them grow - of course, that is the ones that the chickens didn't love eating....

Where did you order Eggs?? I think they are so cool and so do my girls they would love to do that! We had some this year less than 1/4 inch long and last year saw one on our barn roof about 8 inches long. They are like little aliens.
