1 lb ground beef
2 cans re-fried beans
1/2 jar of your favorite style salsa
2 cups grated cheese
lettuce
sour cream
extra salsa
tortilla chips (etc)
In an oven-safe skillet, brown your ground beef.

Stir in 1/2 of a jar of salsa

Stir in your re-fried beans

Mix it all together and spread it in the bottom of your skillet

Now shred your cheese...we love this kind but you can use MonteryJack, Colby, Colby-Jack, or whatever you like.

Sprinkle the cheese all over the top

Then pop it in your oven at about 350 degrees, or until melted and bubbly. Serve with shredded lettuce, sour cream, extra salsa, tortilla chips....it might even be yummy all wrapped up in a tortilla!
Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this recipe. My children and my husband ate these nachos for the first time for lunch today while watching a movie. It was so funny because once the nachos were served he just put the movie in to everyone's surprise. That sure did make the children happy. I was intending for it to be a snack or an appetizer as I did not know what time my husband was coming home from work. I prepared this to buy me some time until I can get the main meal prepped and cooked. My DH got home just before these came out the oven. They are all fully content and no longer hungry. I had a few samples and it was very satisfying. I'll be sure to keep these ingredients on hand as they all enjoyed it. Thanks! :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
