A Give-Away

I have never done this before, but I figured, "Why not?"

We have been doing a fund-raiser for our unit, and had cookbooks made. Wives in the unit submitted their favorite recipes to be added. There are over 250 recipes in here, helpful hints, section tabs, etc (according to our fund-raiser flyer) and 31 of them are my own. This cookbook is similar to the ones that churches put together and sell for fundraisers. The only major difference to other cookbooks like this that I have, is that it is actually 3 ring - so you could open it up and add to it if you wanted....which I think is cool!

So I am going to give one away. Here is how it will work. If you would like to enter, leave me a comment on this post. Tell me what your favorite thing is to cook. Out of all the entries, I will randomly select one at the end of the week. I will then post that winner on the top of the page, and have them contact me to give me a mailing address and I will mail it to them.

I will take entries until 9:00 PM Eastern Time on Friday, June 19th.

One entry per person please!

I don't post very often, but I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. I like your stories and LOVE your recipes.
My nephew's favorite is your "banana" ice cream cake.
I use your basic bread recipe every week, because now is the only bread my hubby likes.
My personal favorite is your split pea soup, delicious!
Thanks

Thank you for giving this cookbook away! I would love to have this cookbook! My favorite thing to cook right now is a homemade chocolate cobbler. It is so easy to make but my children think I have slaved all day to make a desert straight from Heaven! ;0) We all love it served warm with vanilla ice cream. Thank you again and many blessings to you and your family.

I have really enjoyed reading your blog and looking at the photos you always post.
I love cookbooks! It's hard to choose a favorite thing to cook. I would say right now it's carmel pecan dream bars. They are delicious and super easy.

I love baking cookies (because I like to eat cookies LOL). But my favorite thing to cook is a complete roast chicken or roast beef dinner, even down to the homemade rolls and dessert (of course). I love to have it on a Sunday and remember all the family dinners at my Granny's growing up. I hope my kids have those memories one day.

Hi Conni! I love to cook just about anything but really love throwing together my own ingredients and making my own original concoctions. My family says it's the best cooking I do. I always make up funny names for my creations. I think our most recent was YAHOO! stew. Thanks for the chance to win this cookbook!
