The garden

Onions

Carrots

Bush Beans

Potatoes

Peas, please!

Pole Beans

One of my raised beds...there are baby plants all over it, mostly herbs

My other raised bed, full of some scarlet runner beans, and two different kinds of carrots.

The other garden section...kidney beans

Pinto Beans

Corn, with watermelons

Pumpkins

Everything here is completely organic, and grown from heirloom seeds..the only exception being the store-bought flowers. I can not tell you how much it upsets me to have to move, and not be able to fully enjoy this. Some of it will be able to be harvested before we go, but much of it will end up being destroyed so I can re-seed the grass.
Thankfully, I planted lots of things in containers....

...which are totally transportable!

That rose photo is gorgeous, and you've created stunning gardens. I'm incredibly sorry some of it will be a loss.
Thank you. This is only the second garden I have ever done. The first was 2 years ago, and was a disaster. Then my tiller was stolen.
Last year we moved out here in the Spring, so I didn't even try one.
But this year, I spent months reading and studying up. So the positive of this, is that I can see that I have done things right this time. The deep-bed, soil enriched with hard-wood ash and blood meal has done beautifully! Most everything here, was planted seed-in-ground, and has thrived. I am happy, despite it all. :-)
The garden looks great! I am wondering... is there any way to take along some of the raised bed plants?
I am thinking the large Rubbermaid type containers filled with soil. Obviously the corn can't be taken with, but maybe the smaller things might survive in large tubs? If its something you would like to try, I can see about rounding up some of those Rubbermaid storage totes. Its just an idea.
