Simple Sloppy Joes

This is my simple Sloppy Joe recipe...

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, very finely chopped

1 c ketchup

2 Tb Worcestershire sauce

1/4 c brown sugar

1 Tb vinegar

3/4 tsp dry mustard

salt & pepper to taste

1/2 c water

In a skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic until cooked through and brown.  Drain out any grease.  Stir in all remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and lower heat to simmer, uncovered.  This will be very wet and soupy, but you will let it cook down until most of the liquid has evaporated and mixture is thick, about 10-15 minutes. Serve on rolls/buns with your favorite condiments.

Enjoy!
