Oven-Baked Chicken

HOME EC: Oven Baked Chicken

Today the girls made Oven Baked Chicken for Home Ec class.







The Recipe:



1 chicken, cut up

3/4 c flour

1/2 tsp salt

dash pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp thyme

1/2 tsp sage

1/4 tsp onion powder

2 T melted butter

cooking oil spray

1. Line baking pan with foil, spray foil with cooking spray.


2. Rinse the chicken and set aside.


3. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, sage and onion powder.
   
   


4. Dredge chicken in mixture and place in baking pan.


5. bake 20 minutes.


6. Brush chicken with melted butter, then bake 15 more minutes or until chicken tests done with a meat thermometer.
